Would you say hi?

i am on my laptop and decided, for some reason, to look up this guy I was friends with 18 yrs ago. He was my bestie - we were teens.

Well, I found him and was wondering if I should say hi. It was so long ago....

  • Are you in a relationship? If so. No.

  • I agree with Staci--if you are in a relationship, leave well enough alone. If you aren't in a relationship, go for it, you have nothing to lose.

  • I'm happily married... We were buddies not romantic. I'll think on it.

  • Are you married? If so I would see how my hubby feels about it.

  • Are you in a relationship? If so, no. I am not really a fan of digging around in the past.

  • If you are married I wouldn't. You've made it this long without him.

  • I agree with Dardenella, ask your husband what he thinks about it.

I honestly see nothing wrong with a friendly hello and how have you been to an old friend, male or female. It doesn't mean it'll turn into something romantic. As long as you keep it to where you'd be willing to share the conversation with your husband, and if he (the friend) thinks anything more might go on, it gets snuffed out quickly.

  • You must have a reason for having reservations about just saying Hi. If it causes you to hesitate then I wouldn't. If he was only a friend I wouldn't have hesitated.

  • i have reservations because he was 15, I, 17, the last time we saw each other. I don't want to appear stalkerish.
