  • The Our Father .... when I get to the part "forgive me my trespasses as I forgive those who trespass against me " - that usually puts things into a centered perspective and helps me feel empowered and in control.

    Also, St Francis' Prayer
"O Master, grant that I may never seek
so much to be consoled as to console ...
to BE understood as to understand ...
to be loved, as to love with all my soul.
Make me a channel of Thy peace:
Where there is darkness let me bring Your light ... etc.

The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer ; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust ; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

    Psalms 18:46 KJV
The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted .

    Psalms 62:7 KJV
In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.

    That's not a Psalm .. it's lunacy.

    She's asking for a Psalm.

    OP, these have been beneficial to me: Psalms 34, 37, 42, 46, 107, 116, & 118.

I enjoy all the Psalms, but these have helped me through some very rough and sad times. I hope they will be helpful to you also :-)
