How many naps does your 7 month old take...Mine is taking two naps a day and some people say she should be taking 3 naps a day. Just curious what other mom's are doing.

  • its not the quantity of naps is the quality of naps.. so if your 7 month old is sleeping approx 15 hours, thats great.. if its 3 naps and one long sleep at night, great, if not, and its long sleep and 2 naps... thats great too.. my son is 7 months, and sleeps 11 hours at night, ( straight thru) and two naps during the day, approx 2 hours each.. sometimes if he doesnt sleep long enough i will have him take a 3rd nap...

  • I have two kids and I would say...only 2 naps a day just leaves more tiredness for night time, therfore mommy can sleep all night. When my kids were little I tried to keep them up as much as I could.

  • My daughter is 7 months old and she only takes a 45 minute nap 1 time a day. Goes to bed between 7 & 8 pm and sleeps until 7 am. Some babies just don't need as much sleep. I try and try but she won't nap.

  • When my son was 7 months he would take 2 usually and sometimes 3 if he got up earlier than usual so I think its fine
