20 weeks pregnant and need a deit plan

I am 20 weeks pregnant but i am overweight by almost 20 it safe to lose weight during pregnancy? And do anyone know a healthy deit plan?

  • You can't go on a weight loss during pregnancy
    Just eat healthy and exercise when you can
    Save the weight loss for after baby

  • First of all, you are not THAT much over weight. Second, it is not healthy for you to try to lose weight when you aren't very far over your weight limit to begin with.

    Like the other ladies said, just eat healthy and walk when you can.

    BTW, I'm much further overweight than you...all the doctor told me was try not to gain too much, if any at all (and really, I haven't gained anything).

  • NEVER go on a diet while pregnant. Just eat right, portion control and walk a lot.

  • Nope. No diet. But if you eat healthy and exercise lightly- you probably won't gain much in your pregnancy. After you have the baby and are cleared for exercise- then you can go nuts.

  • What does YOUR doctor say about this??? If he/she is telling you to loose weight while pregnant they are a quack... find a new one!
