Matchy Names?

So I just read a post about whether or not to name twins with "matchy names." Most responses were against matchy names, which I can see. I come from an immediate family where all our initials were the same (First Middle Last we were all DAY). DH's familys mom and dad and three kids all have first names with the same letter. I never thought of doing a theme along those lines, but now I'm wondering are my girls names matchy?
DDs : August Ruth 6 and Aberdeen "Abbie" Gail 18mo

  • No. All my kids first names have 7 letters as do mine and my husbands - but we didn't plan it that way!

  • Only by the first letter. Nobody in my family has any type of matching names, not even by the first letter lol. I thought about it for a bit, but decided against it.

Who can't spell or pronounce Aberdeen? The name has been around for a long time.

  • No I really don't like the way it sounds, but I did give my youngest a name so he has my initials.
