Sounding like an old bitty already? Uh oh! :p

I guess I must vent to my mom too much sometimes. B/C just yesterday, besides the usual gripes about hubby & the kids, I told her about 2 other things that had pissed me off. So she said I reminded her of an 80 y/o crabby lady & wondered what I'd be like when I really am 80! She said it jokingly, but it got me thinking. Maybe they better never give me a cane! lol :p

  • Bahaha.....I tell my DH all the time he reminds me of Max from grumpy old men. He was born old. He just needs a frenemy that lives next door to call a dickhead all the time.lol He's only 27, I can't imagine what he'd be like when he is a crabby old.

  • At the risk of sounding like an old biddy... It's spelled "biddy." **grin** Interesting etymology on the free online dictionary:

    biddy1
    n pl -dies
a dialect word for chicken, hen
    [perhaps imitative of calling chickens]
    biddy2
    n pl -dies
Informal a woman, esp an old gossipy or interfering one
    [from pet form of Bridget]

Yes, I'm the kind of person who reads dictionaries and encyclopedias!

  • ^^ Well thanks for the lesson there- but I thought "bitty" was more appropriate here since it's so close to "bitchy", which is what I was doing! lol :p
