  • I've known a lot of people who have left this site over the years. Some did it after a major life change - miscarriage or a new baby, or getting married or divorced. Quite a few did because they went back to work. Others because they moved, and never bothered coming back. There was no drama involved, some didn't even get noticed by anyone else when they left. Others got a "where's so and so", people answered, saying maybe they'll be back, and they never were.

Then there are those who moved on, but not apart. A group I'm in used to be hugely active. Now it barely gets a post a month because everyone in it talks on fb instead. There's no drama involved there, either. They just say whatever they have to say on fb , so why bother posting on CM?

I wonder who these people are that find all their friends leaving because of "drama" or being "chased off". Most don't encounter enough to log off early, let along delete.

  • I think most people leave because their life changes.

I do think the OP of that question was just sad about her friend. Maybe not, maybe a troll. I just gave her a chance but she closed the question quickly.
