My baby is teething

he is fussy during eating and not eating nearly enough. Any suggestions? He is young so not yet old enough to hold a teething ring himself. I don't want to give him medication all of the time to help with the pain. I am concerned that he is not eating. Any guidance would be appreciated

  • Not eating while teething is normal. Make sure that he is taking in enough fluids to not get dehydrated. Keeping the little one upright sometime helps. Sometimes, I take an ear an move it gently in a circular motion.

  • Thanks. I have tried a faster flow nipple so he does not have to suck as hard and that has helped. I appreciate your help. I will try the ear rub technique
