  • My oldest didn't start taking those first steps until about 12 months.
Middle child was running by 10.5 months.
My youngest could stand on his own by 12 months but didn't walk until 17 months.

  • About that time. The more your try to "make it happen" the more afraid she will be. I suggest putting a toy just out of her reach and that sort of thing to passively encourage her. Soon you will be asking yourself, why you were so anxious to get her walking lol.

  • I had three children and all three started walking at different ages: #1 - at 12 months, #2 - at 9 months, #3 - at 15 months. Walking will happen and soon it sounds like. Keep helping by holding her hand(s) and praising her, clapping your hands, saying YAY!, etc.

  • if your baby isnt walking by a year & 1/2 id start asking about a possible ear problem - i know several several kids that had trouble walking due to ear issues (your ears control your balance) Goodluck
