  • Home made Chen mix. Or from a bag. Or nuts. A veggie tray. Chips and salsa (better if its home made).

  • My mom has some things we always snack on throughout the day - veggie tray with dip, crackers and cheese, sliced pumpkin bread arranged around a small bowl of strawberry preserves (YUM!!), small ham sandwiches, sausage balls, etc. These aren't things you can leave out all day, but things you can pull out of the frig and set out for a little while for people to snack on then put back up until the next person gets hungry.

  • Do you want a side dish or a snack? If it's just a snack, I would bring cheese cubes and grapes. It can be left out for a long time without worry.

  • Find a good fruit dip recipe and put that out with sliced fruit - shoot for a non-dairy one so it can sit out for a while.
