Nutrigrain Bar in carpet!

There are thanksgiving guests coming over tomorrow evening and I just discovered, under dd's toy as I was clearing the living room area, half of a nutrigrain bar that has been trampled and mushed into the carpet. It's hard and sticky and I am can't pick it out. I tried to pull most of it off and am currently dowsing it in simple green before starting to scrub it. If this doesn't work what would you suggest? Soapy water and a brush?

  • Soapy water worked like a charm. Little clear water to rinse and a hand towel to dry and I was golden. Thanks ladies! :)
