Does your teen tell you everything? Are they open with all their "activities"?

Mine shares a lot and sometimes he offers up too much!

  • Yes, everything. He tells me all about his friends and their issues. He tells me I am a great mom and he's thankful to have me. He's 16 and I am so blessed to have a great teen.

  • OP:My son is the same as yours. Sometimes I wish he would just not share everything, some things are best left unsaid.

  • My 14 yo dd tells me ALMOST everything but keeps some things to herself. I think it's great that your teen is so open with you!! Count your lucky stars!!!

  • That's great! I'd rather know too much than not enough! All of my kids have been pretty open w/ me so far. Of course, I did recently catch 1 in a pretty big lie, but he's 21 now. (Not that it makes it any better!) Honesty & openness is so important. Keep up the great work! :)

  • they do tell me pretty much everything and yes- at times my daughter has given a bit too much info ;)

  • Yes I think so or at least a lot. Although she has started keeping very quiet lately whic usually means she has encountered something that has upset her or has her confused. But I will not hear about it for a few days.

  • my son is 12 and the same, sometime gives just a little too much detail... But all and all, I'm glad to listen and hear what he has to say, glad he still talks openly with me and feels like he can...
