  • 1. Get your pre-natals 2. Drink about 64-ish ounces of water a day 3. If you don't need it, then don't take it as far as medicines go. If you have a prescription for something then call your dr. and discuss it prior to your appt. 4. Get LOTS of rest 5. Enjoy! It can seem overwhelming with all the info people will throw at you but your doc will let you know what's really important. Congratulations :)

  • you will see your dr so much you will be tired of seeing them lol. you may or may not get morningsickness, you will be tired through out your first trimester. your back will start to ache sometime in your second trimester usually twds the end, vaginal discharge increasees invest in some panty liners. there are many blood tests to come. one very early on to test for things like stds, hiv, and to find out your blood type and if you are rh-. then again at like 15weeks for birth defects that is optional i believe, then at 28weeks for diabeties. some time around 36 weeks you will get a test for group b strep thats a vaginal/rectal exam. and in the end its all worth it. lol

  • if youre gonna get morning sickness, itll probably be in the next few weeks. your boobs will be sore, they may even leak before the baby gets here. you may have cramps taht feel similar to period cramps. youre gonna get tired of sleeping on your side. youre body is gonna experience some pretty yucky stuff. lol youre probably gonna be paranoid that everything is harmful. youll probably lose sleep b/c youll have to get up and pee a lot. youll read more than you ever have. youll be a prisoner in your own body yet its the most amazing beautiful thing youre capable of doing in life! enjoy every bit of it. even when your puking your guts out, you cant help but smile when you think about your baby being in your arms in such a short time.

  • - Watch your sodium intake about midway through. This will help with water retention and swelling. If you start to swell cut back on your sodium and drink more water.(I don't know about everyone but this worked for me).
-Pregnesia (this would be Pregnancy Induced Amnesia of the temporary sort)
Somewhere around the middle to end of your second trimester you will start spacing out and forgetting names and things that have been common your whole life. There's nothing like being in the middle of a conversation and stopping mid-sentence because you've forgotten some basic piece of the English language.
