My teen goes to the cupboard & freezer & eats sweet stuff without asking. I found an empty container I recently had icecream with cookie crumbles as a crust all eaten from the freezer. She left the container 'empty'. The worst thing is she stood there and lied to us about it! A flat out lie. She even tried to blame it on my dh & I which we both knew wasn't true esp since she is the one who leave things EMPTY (I guess so she won't have to wash it?).All we have asked from her is for her to ask, which she does sometimes but not always. I'm so tired of finding empty containers put back in the cupboard too. Peanut butter jars, nutella, cereal. How do you deal with this???Answer Question

Well, I've been tempted to put the dirty dishes, wrappers, banana peels & other crap that gets left laying around, on their bed, except, I'm afraid they would just dump it on the floor in their room, or worse, they wouldn't notice it there! Ugh- it's so frustrating. So when you find the magic wand that cures this slovenly behavior, please share! :0

I started to put things I wanted for myself in my room, my closet. If she is the only one who eats certain things. Stop buying it. Even if you buy ice crean for yourself but she ends up eating most of it. Stop buying it. If you want ice cream. Just go out and buy a small portion.
They do sell deap freezers with locks on them.
