Area rug for kids playroom?

Any suggestions on where I can get a larger size area rug for my kids' playroom. I would like one that is either colorful or educational (like the map of the US) but it has to be gender neutral. A friend had different color mats meant to pad a gym floor that she puzzled together for her son's room. She said she got them at Costco. Of course I couldn't find them when I went.

  • We got the multicolor mats for our play area at a local warehouse club. My brother got an indoor-outdoor rug for his kids' playroom; he found it at Lowe's, it's a bright blue color, and spills wash out easily.

  • Walmart has these colourful mats that fit together like a puzzle they are great and come in a package of 4, another thing you can do is get a paint tarp, then have the kids put hand prints all over it with water proof paint. The good news is you can wash these in your machine.
