Please pray for this family?

Prayers, healing thoughts, healing energies, good karma, whatever you want to call it. I learned of a family this morning that could use it all.

This may get a little confusing.

Gramma, Mom to K, Sister, gramma to newborn twins
K (goes to school with my daughter)
Sister, just had twins on Tuesday

So, after dropping the girls off at school this morning I got talking with Gramma. K missed school yesterday to go see Sister and the twins. Sister is 18, K is 5. Sister is a skinny mini, she was only 105 lbs before she got pregnant. Well, she went into labor Tuesday and it wound up being an emergency C-section of both boys. They're cute as buttons and just fine. Twin 1 was 6 lbs something and 19 inches, Twin 2 was 7lbs something and 20 inches.

After their birth, Sister's temp dropped. They got that back up but then her blood pressure went through the roof and she started seizing. They got her stabilized and she's doing better now. I don't remember now if she's still in the ICU, or if they released her yet. Gramma's a nervous wreck. She's thrilled to meet her first grandbabies, but is still worried about her daughter.

If all y'all could think a thought/prayer of hope and healing for Sister, the family would very much appreciate it.

  • Talked to Gramma again yesterday (Friday) and Mom and twins were coming home yesterday. Mom's still pretty loopy from the pain meds, but is recovering quickly. Now, she'll just be loopy from sleep deprivation and newborn twins.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts/prayers. She appreciated it.
