Do u judge people for having lots of kids

I have a 6th child on the way and it seemed like today at wal-mart people were just glaring at me the whole friggin time, its not like they were rolling around on teh ground like animals. For how many kids I have i'd say they behave really well in a store for the most part. Why all the hate?

  • I have 5. Sometimes I feel judged, but most times people compliment and say how amazed they are. Saying how they wouldn't be able to do it themselves. I think most people just wonder how we are able to manage considering they may be having a time at it, managing their 2 or 3.

  • I do if people keep having them when they're on welfare
If you can't afford them without getting PA,you shouldn't TTC

  • It's not really "judging", to me it's like "damn, how do they deal with that many kids???? I'd go insane."

  • I have a problem when all those kids become taxpayers & the government's problem.

  • Most of the time when I see a female with a lot of kids I just think she has a daycare.
But people who have more then 3 kids now day are not normaly seen much that's all. Most people can't afford more the 3.
Unless you are a Military family and didn't have to pay the hospital bill for all those kids. Or your DH has a really good job or you are rich.

  • im with 3libras on this one. my neighbor has 5 kids (ive posted about them a few times) and she is a single mother, plus the dad is not in the picture at all. i dont know how she keeps from ripping all her hair out. i barely have my sanity left with my 3.

also, i try not to judge the welfare/pa big families. just because they're getting help now doesnt mean they abuse or live off the system, it could simply mean they fell into hard times.

  • My kids aren't tax payers problems I'm not on public assistance, luckily we are pretty good at saving money and being cost effective and hubby has a good job and i have a good job i only work weekends but the pay is good.

even though i'm not on assistance I don't hate people who are though life gets rough sometimes and sometimes people don't plan for things to turn out the way they do

  • We met a couple that they both were twins. They had two sets of twins. So four kids two pregnancies. I understand when things happen like that. And oops I did plan on getting pregnant type things.

  • Maybe I shouldn't take offense and they are just looking strangely liek you said because a lot of people couldn't do it or don't want to raise that many or because you don't see a lot of people with more than two kids these days.
