How to groom a long-haired cat?

We picked up a stray cat a few weeks ago. Hes long-haired and he doesnt groom himself very well. Theres "stuff" stuck on the back side of his tail and all over his butt. What can I do?
Plus, no matter how many time I brush him, his chest and stomach still looks messy and curly. Are there groomers for cats?

  • Bring him to a professional and you can get a lion cut if he is not the greatest groomer or you can get the cats rear shaved/trimmed up then no more stuck poop.

  • Have you tried giving him a bath at all? Sometimes you have to.

  • Yes there are pussy groomers and the vet will usually do a good job. Or you could trim bathe and save it yourself. But that might be a fight for you
