I have been fighting this fight for months. Everyone, this is a legit petition. Her murderer was only charged with class b neglect- this charge is for a victim still living. There is a lot to be done here. The more complaints officials get the better. I was just successful in getting the Dr. that failed to report Alissa's abuse investigated. You can send a complaint regarding Dr. Egli to barbara.greene@atg.in.gov

Thank you for all the support. This baby girl didn't deserve to die such a painfully slow and brutal death. Everyone ignored her while she was alive, but she has a voice through us now.

God forbid this happens to any of your children. That's ok if you arent strong enough to fight for a poor defenseless and voiceless child. She has 80k+ other very strong supporters. People who turn their faces to injustice are just as guilty.

Attacking people when you first come on to CM is not a good way to get people to sympathise with anything you say.

Ok, my main question here is WHY IN THE HELL was her mother still leaving her with this abusive and sadistic person if she was coming back with what would be obivous signs of abuse? And, if others knew of the abuse when it was happeneing, why the hell didn't they call CPS? Yes, it is tragic that this poor baby died at the hands of this pathetic excuse of a human being, but it's not only the justice system that failed this poor child. I will not sign a petion that places all wrong doing on the justice system when they are not the only ones who failed her!
