Can ya'll help me with this dang project? Crafting mom's needed here, please.

What type of epoxy or glue will adhere to felt? Got the felt glued to the paper, but I can't get the Pom poms and bells to stick to the felt.

I've tried Elmer's glue and wood glue. Neither work. I wish I had one of those glue guns, but I don't. Any advice? I'm not creative and I lack all crafting skills.

It's a family art project due on Monday. Idk if this will even be dry by then. The teacher sent it home yesterday, and I had to make a flying dash 84 miles for the supplies last night.

Any advice on getting crap to stick to felt?

  • I'm going to derail your post and ask you how you're doing? I've been thinking about you since your Thanksgiving post about your SO!

  • fabric glue or a glue gun

  • Hot glue (glue gun) or possibly rubber cement. It's been a while since I've done anything with felt but this spring we made pompom caterpillars and regular white school glue kept those together fine once it dried - so maybe just use a good amount and make sure it stays still until it's completely dry?

  • I am obviously a dumbass. I've never heard of fabric glue. Why oh why did I rebel and refuse home economics in high school?

  • Never heard of tacky glue either.

Trying to glue these little Pom poms to it and silver jingle bells.

  • Thanks ladies. I am screwed on this project. No way can I drive to the nearest city that has such glue( it's 74 miles one way). Next time I will know.
