I sort of like the name Jane but do you think it's too...well..."Plain Jain"?

Jane as a middle is good

My MIL is Jayne and I really like it!!

My moms name is Jane. I didn't use it because I have a really long last name and it sounded too short. But i like the name.

I like Jane.

I love the name Jane. I love the fact that's it's plain. Everyone has names like Sophia, Emma, etc. It's actually unusual to have a name like that now. I say "go for it"!

OP: you might want to consider a longer version that can be shortened to Jane, so she has options when she's older without having to use her middle name.

Jane is better as a middle name IMO. Out of your list, reversed, I like Catherine Jane and Scarlett Jane.
