Has anyone taken their kids to see Rise of the Guardians?

What ages do you think it is appropriate for?

Thinking about taking my almost 3 year old. He sits through movies very well. He really loves How to Train Your Dragon, doesn't get scared of the evil dragon at all. So I am wondering if he will be okay with the evil Pitch Black character in Rise of the Guardians.

Would love to hear if anyone else has seen it and what they think. Thanks!

  • My dh and I watched it yesterday. We commented on how young kids could be scared cuz it deals with scary dreams, etc. When my boys were little, two of mine would have been ok,and my youngest terrified! Not much help,iknow....

  • My kids loved it, they are 5 and 6, they weren't scared at all. The kids in front of us looked about 4 or 5 and was scared through some parts, so I think it just depends on your child.
