What will be the hardest thing

About the holidays for you this year?

For me, it will be not having all my kids here. One son lives in Japan, and another one is just making really poor life choices at the moment, and I dont know where he is. My youngest should be home from collegr tho!

What about you guys? Any tough stuff?

  • I won't be able to make it to the UK until January.....a few weeks later than anticipated, due to unexpected financial constraints. So, I'm pretty bummed about that.

  • I'm due 5 January, but my midwife is going in to get a fibroid tumor removed, and she doesn't know how long her recovery will take... Talk about stressing out a pregnant lady!

  • Just missing my grandparents as usual. My grandparents used to deck out their house (on the inside) that they could've charged admission. It was so awesome. And even though I have some of my favorites from their collection, I know I would never be able to do it as well as Gma did. :(....

  • I'm sorry!

This year will be the first time I've had both sons home for Christmas in 6 years. Our oldest was in the Air Force.
Now my youngest just joined the Navy, so the likelihood of having him home next Christmas is slim.

We're just going to enjoy and try not to think about it, lol

  • Having Christmas Eve at my abuela's for the first time since my abuelo passed away, and my dad being away on a trip. I love both of those men so much, and it will be hard without them :/
