Gee,don't you think a little info would help?

My mom was saying that she couldn't find the veggie dip she usually bought,so could I find a recipe and make it?
I call her and ask what's in it?
She says"I don't know" I ask was it oniony, garlicy? Sweet, sour creamy? cream cheesy? All she says is it may have had celery,or maybe not. Could have been carrots,or maybe not.
Still says,I don't know. It was white so..... Sigh....
I'm not about to make it and have her say she doesn't like it,because given no info, the odds are it would be my fault somehow.

  • Based on that it sounds like any white dip would be right LOL.

How good could it have been if she doesn't remember details?

  • That sounds like my mother. Then after listing tons of different types of veggie dip she would say "Oh, actually, I think it's just ranch dressing." Mothers.....gotta love them:-)

But I agree with tessidawg, just make the sour cream with packet of dried vegetable soup mix. It's got carrots and celery, right? LOL

    Good luck!

  • Don't touch it or do the simplest version possible: sourcream mixed with a packet of dried vegetable soup mix. Ta da!!
