2 Bumps

What are the biggest signs of ovulation?

I've never tracked ovulation or anything but on CD 15 I hadd cramps and on CD 17 I had watery CM. I'm now on CD 21 with barely any CM. I'm still having some cramps, very light. I'm not sure how long my cycles are either-long story-. Basically I gave birth to my son at 25 weeks on Sep 18 (he was born sleeping) and got my period on Nov 12. Before my pregnancy with him I was on depo then I had 2 periods, 38 days apart, and got pregnant. I don't know if I should be going by a 38 day cycl or what. I'm just confused.

  • i would shoot for having sex atleast every other day - but no more than once a day (Thats what ive gotten from all the research ive done, as the best way to try, and ensure healthy optimal sperm) - also if you dont already know sperm can survive up to six days after sex so if your have sex every other day you shouldnt have to even worry about when yo ovulate you would be covered! Good Luck

  • Your cycles will likely be a mess for a bit. Pick up a copy of "Taking Charge Of Your Fertility" by Toni Wechsler. It will help.

  • As far as my cycle? None. I haven't talked to him about my cycles. as far as TTC he said it was fine whenever we were ready. I know it takes time to regulate after giving birth or stopping BC so I'm sure thats all he would tell me.
