Salt question, Where do I buy this?

I am making a salt-crusted fish for Christmas Eve, I need a coarse grind of salt. I have looked at the store, and nothing? I want to wow my mother in law!

  • Most stores have kosher salt. That should work beautifully.

  • I get my sea salt at Costco... It's between coarse and fine grind. Might work good for this so someone doesn't bite into big chunks of salt.

  • By the spices in a bigger container. One grocery store I shop at it's actually on the next section of shelves, waaaay on the bottom, in a box.

  • We use kosher salt, and buy it at the store, but it is ground very fine. I was told if I don't use a coarse grind, the fish will absorb too much. I guess I could go chunk some off of the salt lick we have out for the deer, lol.
