1 Bump

Direct express - the card that ssi deposits money onto

there are no ATM's near me that take this without fees. will my bank BofA simply take the money off for me with perhaps a small fee?

  • That's odd. I get SSDI directly deposited into my checking account. The best you can do is talk to someone at your bank about your options.

  • Can you not ask social security to direct deposit it into your account? I get social security disability for my kids from my ex and its direct deposit

  • no. ssi needs to put it into a separate account. i originally asked for it to go to our bank.

  • I called BofA and yes, they can pull the money for me. Not sure of the fee though.

  • Have SSI direct deposit to your bank account. BOA will help you do thid just take your info to the bank.
