Pot roast came out bland

dont know why, its my 1st time making it...can I salvage it? what do i do to it?

  • I agree with meooma.. a tasty gravy poured over it will help a lot.

  • Onion soup mix thickened with cornstarch.

  • If it's tender enough, try pulling it apart and mixing it with barbecue sauce so you can make barbecue sandwiches. Or cut it up in small cubes, then serve it over mashed potatoes or bread slices with beef gravy.

  • If it's already fully cooked, shred or slice it and cook if for a while in a sauce. You can make a gravy, or use BBQ sauce and cook the roast in it for about 10 minutes.

  • Gravy work for blan pot roast evey time. Just make some potatoes to gp with and poor gravy on both.
