Do you feel like you have to be front and center

all the time or do you realize you are not that special and move on?

  • I don't need to be front and center, I already KNOW I'm special! Who else can have a post completely dedicated to her and her love of bacon....and I've accomplished it on more than one occasion!

  • I knew I was special the first time someone posted a question asking what "NP" meant - thinking it was some sort of CM abbreviation like DH or TTC. Then again, I think a lot of people here are special, and they get that way by the quality of their answers, not the frequency of their questions.

  • Wait. I'm not a special snowflake? Is that what you're trying to say?!

  • I would prefer not to be front and center. Being front and center usually means having a giant target painted on you ... easier to dodge the crazies if you aren't wearing a target.

    Totally agree with that.

  • I don't need to be the center of attention, and I know that I'm special in my own right. Besides, I learned in the past that being up front and center on CM inevitably leads to negativity. Not interested in that!

  • So, MOM, that's the way to ward off the crazies. Good stuff to know. :)

  • Lol, no! I even hated being the center of attention in my own wedding this summer!
