How do you get this crap out?!

Okay, so you know those big stickers kids get from the doctor. Well, we accidentally left one on DD's shirt the other day and put it through the wash. It won't come off! It's nasty; leaves nasty, dirty stick stuff on the shirt and looks terrible. Any ideas on how to get it off?

  • Yeah ditto Kmath, if you figure it out please share because we've had more than one piece of clothing ruined by those dang things! I don't hardly ever let the kids put stickers on their clothes anymore because I know they'll forget to take it off before it goes in the wash @@

  • Finger nail polish remover. Rubbing alcohol, one or both might work.

  • At least I know I'm not the only one missing some sort of secret. I may try vegetable oil. Works on the sticky residue from jars. So maybe? lol idk
