Oldest woman dies, 116. She lived in 3 centuries!! Wow, imagine all the changes she saw. Would you want to live that long? I don't know if I would.

  • I think it would be so hard to watch everyone I knew die. It would break my heart to outlive my kids, and at that age, it would be a likely.

  • My great-grandmother was 98 when she died a few years ago. I used to be just amazed when I would think about the changes she'd seen. In a way, I think it would be really cool to live through so much, but at the same time, to see so many people I care about die, to see so many wars, to see the way that the world has deteriorated in some ways, that would just be too sad.

  • I'd like to live a long time if I could be healthy, but I agree, it would be awful to outlive my daughter or my stepson.
