  • my son grabs for it at feedings and holds onto it, but can't hold it on his own. he is 6 months. all babies are different. some don't do it at all

  • my son held his own bottle at 4 1/2 months, my daughter was about 8 months(5 1/2 adjusted)

  • This usually happens around 6 months; but like prev poster said, every child is different and develops at their own pace.

  • I breastfeed, so I dont know. IMO bottle-fed babies should always be held while their being fed. It's a special bonding time ya know :)

  • all chidren are different my first 3-4mos my 2nd 6-7mos my little one she was both breast feed and bottle holding the bottle i'll say maybe 5-6mos if you just help guide the the baby hands everytime feeding the baby will do it naturally now some are late self feeders which refuse because they want moma warmth and you are their comfy blanket just dont stop the baby will get it and watch your reaction good-luck i been there and don't want no more!
