Is this gift...

a crappy gift for someone you barely know? I really have no idea what to get this person and I saw this and thought, "that's kind of cool."

Would you be disgusted/offended if you got something like this?

  • I don't use bar soap so I'd probably end up re-gifting it...

  • Like charlotsomtimes, I don't use bar soap, so I wouldn't use it. But I wouldn't be offended or disgusted. My kids (and before that, my parents sometimes) get me little bath baskets with bubble bath and lotions and stuff like that.

  • My Mother inlaw would love something like that. She buys all natural stuff all the time, and that soap looks like something she would use. It would be nice in a basket of bath items for xmas. If given alone I'm not sure if it would be enough..

  • I think that when you barely know someone (but for some reason are still compelled to buy them a gift) then this wouldn't be bad. I would love it!

  • I would love it. I think its fine for someone you don't know well. It's just soap, its not like you're buying them a toothbrush.

  • Seems fine. How about a coffee or tea gift bag?
