This is for the woman who almost got scammed (puppy)

http://news.yahoo.com/scam-leaves-family-puppy-less-christmas-180535705.html

Apparently it is getting wide spread. Folks if you want a dog go to Facebook groups there are a ton of free ones there(they have pet groups ), or go to your local shelter. I would rather pay the shelter for shots etc then to be scammed. I hope you do get the puppy you are wanting.

Not criticizing anyone either, I understand totally.

  • Yikes. Seems like it should be easy for law enforcement to track these people down with a little bit of detective work.

  • Here is the clicky version of the above article.

My dd is wanting a Chihuahua puppy for Christmas, but CL scares me with the prices they are asking for them. And, when the local shelter gets them in (which is rare), they go so fast, there is no way to get them. Oh well, she may just have to settle for a small mix puppy.
