Photoshop lightroom help

is selective color possible with adobe photoshop lightroom? i want to make a picture black and white but leave certain parts (the eyes and shirt) in color. i cant figure it out, anyone know how?

  • Go into Camera Raw (ctrl+r or cmd+r) and desaturate the colors you don't want

  • I would copy the picture, make it black and white. Then put the picture back to RGB or CMYK. then paste the color picture on another layer on top. Delete the parts that you want black and white. Make sure you feather the edges so it blends. The black and white will show though from the bottom. I have regular photoshop, not sure what lightroom is.
