  • Some herbs have medicinary uses. If the alcohol is used primarily for first aid for minor cuts and scrapes then there are many herbs that might add a benefit. Example: tea tree oil has natural antibiotic properties chamomile and witch hazel can both reduce inflammation. i don't mix my witch hazel with alcohol though. i get a bottle of it and put some on a cotton ball to help a bruise break up more quickly. I find it works well enough alone. There are many uses for a variety of common herbs.
