Suppliments to help boost immunity and help treat colds?

I take a daily vitamin and extra 2ooo IU of vitamin D a day however I have gotten more colds this year then ever! I dont get it. Does anyone know of anything that may help prevent this or treat when I get one the natural way?

  • all of the above- as well as humidifying the air. Colds breed in dry air.

  • Good hygiene as well - plenty of hand washing, avoid touching your face especially when you can't wash your hands as often. Sambucol or another form of elderberry when you do feel a cold coming on (or the flu). Probiotics are great year-round but especially now.

  • You need vitamin C to boost the immune system and vitamin D to help your body absorb the vitamin C.
