Would you help your friend pay for her divorce if they had no money?

  • I would in her situation but normally not like if it's only well we grew apart kinda thing but if he's abusive any way at all then yes

  • I don't have a lot of money, so I wouldn't be able to. Where I live, if you can't afford it, you can fill out paperwork that says you can't afford it, and they'll waive the fees. Or at least they used to, because that's what I did when I got divorced.

  • No but I would show her how to get legal help for little or nothing. There are enough ways to get it without my help. Legal Aid is one way and the courthouse has a list of attorneys who do work for nothing (pro bono).

  • I would if I could. But finances being what they are, I would do whatever I could to help her get any asst. out there for women in her situation.
