  • Little House on the Prairie Series, Chronicles of Narnia, the Wrinkle in Time series, the Hitchiker's trilogy, many books by Judy Blume, Norma Klein, Paul Zindel, Paula Danziger—there were so many great young adult books in the seventies and early eighties, before they started Bowdlerizing the content of YA books.

  • I loved The Baby Sitter's Club, Sweet Valley High, and Goosebumps as a tween. As a little kid I liked The Pokey Little Puppy (which I now read to my son) and the Berenstein Bears.

    Butterfly I forgot all about Mrs. Piggle Wiggle!!
