Has Santa ever said "yes"...?

And if he has on a gift that you never intended to buy, do you then buy the gift?

We encountered that last weekend. DD is now getting a Justin Bieber doll. Stupid Santa.

  • Wow I can not say that I have ever had that experience with my siblings, my kids or my grandson.
If it did happen I would definitely complain.

    Bad Santa, No cookie.

  • I've never had a Santa give a definitive answer. They're always so vague. Luckily my kids have never asked for something I wasn't able to pull through on.

  • If Santa said yes to everything my daughter asked for, we'd have to move into a football stadium to have room for all of her toys. I tell her Santa has to give toys to everybody, so he only gives a few to each child.

  • Santas here have always said "I will see what I can do" but never yes! Fortunatley for Santa LO always says she wants the most expensive gift shes getting from my husband and I , I am sure she has no clue what the items costs but it always works that way. Last year she wanted a computer from US, this year she wants the Power Wheel Dune Buggy from US! I prefer to let this years be from Santa so she doesnt learn to expect expensive from us but hubs disagrees

  • Our Santa has always said "I will see what I can do" after asking the child what he/she would like for Christmas.
When our grandson was younger, he would tell Santa what he wanted and I would be right there to take notes...lol
and usually those requests (and a few more) were always under the tree on Christmas from Santa...
