What kind of toothpaste does your child use?

I get my son a very specific toothpaste (or really, anything without even a hint of mint flavor), the other day we ran out, so i told him he would have to use mine just for that night. So he did, and FREAKED out saying it burns and he hates it. The next day I bought him a children's toothpaste, but not his normal kind, this one has a slight mint flavor, he hates that too. I really just want to slowly get him off the other stuff, he eventually needs to use regular toothpaste right? He's 6 btw. Any of your kids have the same problem? Suggestions?

  • My 11, 13 and 15 yo use Colgate Total, but my 2 yo and 4 yo are still using training toothpaste. My older ones used Crest Kids until around 10 - the tube was easier/more fun for them since it was a pump.

  • mine all use the kid's Aquafresh with the easy dispense thing-a-ma-bob. i guess they're use to the mild mint flavor because that's what i started them out on.

  • My 6 yr old hates children's toothpaste but, can't handle strong mint either. So, I buy her this:
