Does anyone know of tattoo removal creams or other ways besides laser treatments that really work on ridding tattoos?

  • Nope. They have that fade cream thing at Walmart but it doesn't do much and it costs a fortune.

  • If you have an answer I would like to know too as son would like to remove his but it is insanely expensive and he says it will leave a bad scar

  • Best way to get rid of one, is to not get it at all. Laser is the only way I have heard.

  • Why get a tattoo if you didn't plan on having it for life?

  • In DS case it was a tattoo he and his first wife got together. It was cheap and faded and frankly looks crappy. I suggested he get it "freshened" and I am not a fan of tattoos but he wants it gone. I also know my ex-DDIL got hers in a place that stretch way out of shape when she was pregnant (I don't know what he thoughts are on removal) and I can see that as a reason.

I have also heard that removal HURTS.

  • from what I've heard- they dodn't work. You have to cover the tattoo with another one, or get the laser removal

  • having a tattoo cover up is better then have it removed off of your body because it's less painfully and cost less.
