Frozen Sausage and Peppers

We cooked sausage and peppers the other night and froze it into a aluminum tin. Is it best to let it defrost first and then cook it or can I should I stick it in the oven and let it defrost?

Also how long is cooked sausage good for in the fridge. We grilled it on saturday night, and its been in the fridge ever since. I am starving and want to eat it on italian bread lol is it safe?

  • I would take it out, let it thaw a little, put it in a glass bowl covered then microwave it until the inside of the sausage is hot.

  • Freezer is fine, fridge might make the peppers mushy, is it frozen? I would defrost it and heat it in the skillet.
