Is it normal for a grown woman to play games on a children's website?

And basically partake in social networking for small children?

  • Neither normal, nor appropriate.

  • The website in question is stardoll.com, an 'online dressup site for girls'.

The person I'm asking about supposedly has two young boys living with her - not her children.

    I find it creepy.

  • The only reason for that is to supervise your own child. There are serious issues with adults impersonating children online unless they’re law enforcement...maybe law enforcement needs to check on the adults on this site.

  • Ick. That's sketchy, why would an adult do that? I mean unless they have ulterior intentions.

  • I would vote no. When I was a child, I didn't like to dress them up then, let alone as an adult. My daughter hates dolls, I do confess I checked out the website to see exactly what it was. I thought maybe it was one of those adult creepy doll websites.

  • Creepy b/c my child is on that site. So, I've now upped her security settings. I'd delete her account if I thought she wouldn't freak out over it. And, honestly she's done nothing wrong.
