What is a healthy recipe to make for valentines day?

My husband and I are both on diets, but i wanted to make something good for dinner on Valentines Day. Any suggestions?

  • Here is something easy and fun, although a side dish: get a bunch of radishes and cut slices, take the slices with the red skin on them and with a sharp knife cut out heart shapes. Serve these in tossed salad or even in a sugar-free jello salad. :) How about turkey burgers with the burgers, and maybe bread, cooked/cut in heart shapes. Cherry pie is timely with Presidents Day and Valentines both- being red- get a can of low-cal cherry pie filling and a reduced fat pie shell. You can serve with fat-free whipped topping.

  • You could marinate and grill chicken breasts serve it with a nice spring mix salad, and squash. A piece of bread and a simple dessert.
