how warm should you keep your house for a 5 month old baby?

  • Ours was and is always around 67 during the day. When the kids were babies we only lowered it to about 65 at night.

  • Same as you normally would- just make sure he/she is dressed appropriately for the temp. If you keep it on the cooler side- make sure he/she is wearing an extra layer.

  • Yes. What they are wearing is more important. As much clothes az the adults plus a layer. I like the house at 75 to 85 but I am always cold.

  • I was told to keep the house my normal temperature, don't change it for baby. Baby will acclimate.

  • Pedi said to keep the sleeping room cooler than the rest of the house, as SIDS happens more frequently in a warm environment.

    We keep our home around 67 degrees...
