so DH & i were watching reruns of Doctor Who and saw a Christmas one where they were opening these tubes that had paper crowns and jokes in them (Christmas crackers). i figured our kids would love them and it would be a fun tradition to start. only problem is i cant find them anywhere (being a UK tradition i guess i shouldnt be surprised). i can order them off the internet but the shipping is stupidly high, like twice as much as the product costs, at every site ive looked at. does anyone know if any stores in America sell them? ive only checked the big chain stores (Walmart, Target, etc)Answer Question

Crackers or cookies? Us Americans do not have Christmas crackers. As far as I know. We do have Christmas cookies though. I know(I think) UK call cookies, buscuits?

OK, when you get them, the trick to make them pop really loud is carefully grab the little paper tabs at each end, get a good grip then pull them out at the same time together fast! Have fun!
