1 Bump

I have a concern about my 3.5 year daughter. She knows how to go potty #1 & #2, but lately she has just been going in her underpants more than usual.. Why is she doing this all of a sudden? It's getting really old now. -One very frustrated and tired Mommy.

  • Has there been any kind of change recently? New baby- new daycare- new house...?

  • Often they regress if there is something different in their life- new baby is one, moving, even something exciting like going on vacation. They don't do it on purpose- at least in my experience.

  • Make sure it is not an infection. Sometimes kids do not experience pain with them.

  • ^^ All of the above.

Plus, sometimes when they get into playing something they don't like to take the time to stop and go use the potty (seems like it takes a lifetime to them), so they wait until they can't anymore and voila! Accident.

  • Nope, no changes here at home.. Oh wait a minute.. yes there has been a change. I started working again a few months ago. I have been a stay at home mom ever since she was born. Maybe that is it!? Okay, guess I'll have to be very patient with her and keep rewarding stickers until she is back on track again.. Thanks ladies! :)
