  • That's a hard question to answer... What I get from the Bible, is that God is holy and cannot look upon sin. He required a blameless sacrifice for the sin in the world, and that was Jesus. Jesus agreed to that sacrifice, and went willingly. I freely admit I dont get the whole thing, and the thought of Jesus being tortured to death while his mother watched is more than my heart can take...
