Still deciding if I should buy...

So my oldest just turned 13 in Nov. Well for her big present she wants a Kindle fire HD. Do you think this is a good gift for a 13 year old.

  • My DD got one for her 13th bday/bat mitzvah. She loves it. Although I'm not sure that she's ever read a book on it.

    It's a good big gift.

  • My parents are giving my 9 & 10 yos each one - IMO kids don't need the HD but that's just me.

  • She must not have done anything bad this past year to get that.
I guess I am old fashioned. I would never give that kind of stuff to a child.
